Our last day of cycling in Tibet was the easiest. Supposedly the world's longest descent of >100km. It was downhill all the way, so I should call it an exercise in brake control. (And thank goodness, there were no headwinds.)
The last stretch into town became off-roading of some sort due to heavy construction. Instead of paved roads, it was mud and potholes and construction equipment and workers to avoid. I would go over a good-sized puddle without knowing how deep it was. It was a thrill for a newbie (and freaky at times), but completely unexpected (a reflection of how fast development takes place in Tibet/China). So my glamor shot afterwards.
Uncharming Zhang Mu.
