This time, I wasn't late for my flight to Valencia. In fact, I was waayyy early. And then of course, the flight was delayed by more than an hour.
Great weather in Valencia, a well-known port city! I wanna see the beach!
On my way to town (as in downtown), I walked through this long park, which was kinda "sunken" (i.e. below ground level). This was a big "musical fountain" which was always "on". Above, at "ground-level", a few bridges (for pedestrian and vehicle traffic) connect both parts of the city at various points. So maybe this was a dried up riverbed or something. Many locals jog/stroll/walk their dogs/cycle/sit & chat there in the cool evenings.
I should've gone to the beach on the sunny day I arrived, but I didn't. Went the next day, when it suddenly became overcast and threatened to rain (actually there were drizzles). After a tiring walk, I arrived at the beach, only to be completely underwhelmed. Spent all of 4.3 minutes there and headed back towards town on a tram (then metro) which was a whole other story by itself (another of those "memorable experiences").
Well, I just thought that this was a neat way to put toiletries together. This was in my hotel room, of course.
